Reasons you’re not uninstalling your old software:

  1. You might use it, someday, somehow in some other alternate reality.

Reasons you should uninstall your old software:

  1. Netscape Navigator DiscYou’re not using it!
  2. It’s taking up hard drive space.
  3. It’s cluttering your start menu.
  4. When you come to use it a year down the line it may want to update itself entirely anyway.
  5. You will look for better / more advanced software when you do come to use it – eventually.
  6. It may be insecure – use Secunia PSI to find out.
  7. It doesn’t work as well as shiny new applications.
  8. It has drivers or a service.. or a process that starts on startup that is slowing your computer down.
  9. You have other apps that do the same thing anyway.
  10. It’s rubbish.
