Gizmo’s TechsupportAlert has teamed up with Emisoft to offer a free 1 year licence for Mamutu.

Mamutu is an IDS (Intrusion Detection System) and an extra real time layer of protection to add to your current security setup.

This is a similar type application to the excellent and free PCTools Threatfire. This is due to it’s malware behaviour checking, it doesn’t rely on signatures as a virus checker might. Mamutu is generally well received on Wilders Security Forums which is one of the best security forums I know of.

To recieve your free licence you have to register with Emisoft (who are well trusted and also the makers of A-Squared) and enter a promotional code.
